Whether creating a cozy reading corner or designing an entire home, Pamela brings her clients’ lifestyle needs into focus and translates them into a functional, aesthetically pleasing interior.  Meticulous attention to detail and creativity are her trademarks.  Guiding her clients through their projects with a multi-layered approach, she enlists her fresh personal style and energy to insure their visions become reality.

Based in Toledo, Ohio, Pamela was trained as an art educator, with additional coursework focused on history of architecture and art.   She has a classical, yet contemporary approach to design. Although each component of the design is important, she often uses fabrics as the scheme inspiration.  Pamela’s love of textiles developed at an early age, as she watched her mother, who taught flat pattern, clothing and textiles, design and fabricate beautiful clothing using luxurious and sometimes exotic fabrics she had purchased from travels abroad.  These childhood experiences gave Pamela insights into various fabrics and their applications, as well as the process involved in fabrication of treatments. She learned an appreciation for all fabrics - from simple to dear and, for example,  realized that unassuming raffia may be a more interesting solution than a rich silk.  She encourages clients to incorporate original art (perhaps even a grandchild’s latest “masterpiece”) and loves “the hunt” - the search for the perfect antique or a unique piece that will breathe life and authenticity into a room.

Pamela loves travel, gardening, trying to learn to play bridge and enjoying time with her husband, three daughters, their husbands and seven grandchildren. She has been an active volunteer and holds a special love for the Toledo Museum of Art.

Pamela has been fortunate to have worked on projects in many areas of the country. On the East Coast, from Providence and New York City, to Florida; in the Midwest, Chicago and Northern Michigan; and in the West, Texas, Arizona and Montana.  Each location brings a unique charm that can inspire, adding flair and local flavor.  In all of her design, Pamela strives to use her expertise, talents and life experiences to bring beautiful results to her projects.
